About Osteopathy
Osteopaths are unique in the way that they assess patients from a mechanical, functional and postural standpoint. They use an established system of diagnosis and hands-on treatment to improve the function of the body.

Visiting an Osteopath
At the first consultation, which will take about an hour, the osteopath will compile a full case history of your symptoms, as well as asking for information about your lifestyle and diet. The osteopath may also observe you making some simple movements to help them make a diagnosis. Subsequent appointments are usually 40 minutes.
